2. About SK Pulse and IPLA P.A.

SK Pulse is operated by IPLA P.A., a California S-corporation established in 2005, with offices at 3580 Wilshire Blvd, Suite 1700, Los Angeles, California 90010, USA. IPLA P.A. provides bilingual coordination between East Asian clients — including Korean and Japanese clients — and U.S. licensed patent attorneys. SK Pulse is the publication arm of IPLA P.A. and operates independently of any client engagement.

4. Interactive Calculators and Tools

SK Pulse publishes a set of interactive calculators that are subject to the following terms:

• The 18 interactive calculators at https://sk-pulse.com/calculators/ are educational tools, not financial or legal instruments.
• Calculators rely on publicly available fee schedules, regulations, and rates at the time of publication. SK Pulse makes a reasonable effort to update calculators when underlying figures change, but does not warrant that any specific number, rate, or fee shown on the site is current at the moment of use.
• Calculators run entirely in the visitor's own browser. Calculator inputs are not transmitted to or stored by SK Pulse.
• Worked examples, sample scenarios, and illustrative figures are clearly labeled where used and should not be treated as actual quotes, official rates, or guaranteed outcomes.
• The visitor is responsible for verifying any calculator output against an official source — such as the USPTO, the IRS, the Korean Financial Supervisory Service, a licensed bank or fintech provider, or a qualified professional — before making any financial, legal, or business decision.

6. Intellectual Property

All original content on SK Pulse — including articles, calculator logic, methodology write-ups, illustrations, page layouts, and the SK Pulse name and wordmark — is the intellectual property of IPLA P.A. unless otherwise credited.

Quotations, third-party trademarks (for example, the USPTO, the IRS, the FSS, named banks, and named fintech providers), and external data sources referenced on the site remain the property of their respective owners. Use of those names is solely for accurate identification within informational content and does not imply any endorsement, affiliation, or sponsorship.

8. Limitations of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall SK Pulse, IPLA P.A., or their respective contributors be liable for any damages — including, without limitation, damages for loss of data, loss of profit, or due to business interruption — arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on SK Pulse, even if SK Pulse or an authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or limitations of liability for consequential or incidental damages. In such jurisdictions, these limitations may not apply to the visitor.

10. Advertising and Third-Party Services

SK Pulse has applied to participate in Google AdSense. If and when AdSense is approved and enabled on the site, advertisements served by Google or its partners may appear on the site. Such advertisements are governed by Google's own terms and policies, not by these Terms. Visitor data practices related to advertising are described in the SK Pulse Privacy Policy.

This section will be updated when AdSense is actually approved and active on the site.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States of America. The visitor irrevocably submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the State of California for the resolution of any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the visitor's use of the site.
